Invitation to premiere!
Jolene of the Winter Faith Collaborative writes:
We have created a very special event
to reunite with the 16 faith communities
and the countless volunteers of multiple faiths
who collaboratively sheltered
258 San Jose unhoused last Winter.
We want to celebrate the Collaborative's
successful 1st Year
and the important role you played
to make it happen!
Many of you were gracious enough
to share your unique shelter experiences
with Daniel, our videographer,
in order to create a documentary film
of the events of last winter.
Pastors, shelter directors, volunteers
and the guests themselves are the storytellers
who explain how communities,
across many denominations and faiths,
came together to offer overnight shelters,
daytime drop-in centers,
and safe car parks for so many of our friends
during the El Niño winter of 2015.
We cordially invite you and your community to the Premiere of:
The Gift of Hospitality:
A Documentary Film told by the Guests, Volunteers,
and Faith Leaders of an Interfaith Movement
to create a Healing Community.

By working together,
we proved to be more successful
beyond what any of us thought possible.
As we each look towards our sheltering plans for this winter,
we hope to continue to work collaboratively
and support each other
so that we can widen our scope
of communities involved and guests served.
To that end,
in the near future the video will be shown to
NEW communities considering sheltering this winter.
But it is you, the ORIGINAL
Collaborative communities,
who are invited to watch the video for the first time.
We hope to see you there!
